Administrative & Public Law
We maintain a diverse administrative and public law practice in Cyprus, often retained by both public sector bodies and private sector parties. This engagement has allowed us to accumulate extensive experience and practical knowledge across various sectors, addressing overlapping regulatory and administrative law issues in areas such as utilities, financial institutions, transportation, and energy organisations.
Our expertise encompasses acting for governmental departments and public authorities, corporations and professional associations, administrative boards and commissions, as well as individuals. We provide services in areas such as judicial reviews, customs and excise, environmental licensing, coastal laws and regulations, town planning, statutory interpretation, disciplinary proceedings, and the appointments or promotions of civil servants in the public sector.
Our team has represented the Government of Cyprus, numerous municipalities, and public organisations such as the Youth Board of Cyprus, the Housing Finance Corporation, and the Larnaca Water Board. We regularly advise regulated businesses on potential public consultation obligations related to policy changes. As new legislation, regulations, and policies affect the commercial objectives of businesses and public bodies, our goal is to offer comprehensive advice that covers all activities and sectors regulated under Cyprus law. We provide representation before all Cyprus courts and tribunals and facilitate successful relationships between our clients and their respective regulatory authorities.
