Dispute Resolution

Harris Kyriakides’s highly regarded corporate and commercial disputes team advises on the full range of disputes. We represent clients in litigation and advise and assist clients on ADR, including international and domestic arbitration  and mediation. A significant portion of the practice involves international and often multi-jurisdictional matters, mapping out strategies for our clients so as to achieve their ultimate business objectives. Our team handles complex proceedings in foreign jurisdictions and co-ordinate proceedings across multiple jurisdictions. Collaboration with internationally acclaimed law firms is a hallmark of the team’s approach in handling large-scale litigation and arbitration cases. We have developed extensive experience and expertise in asset recovery and regularly act on freezing injunctions (Mareva injunctions), disclosure orders (Norwich Pharmacal proceedings), search orders (Anton Piller orders), injunctions in aid of foreign civil proceedings or arbitration proceedings and proceedings for recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments or arbitral awards.

Our dispute resolution practice is highly regarded for its depth and expertise in managing disputes across a wide range of areas, including banking and financial services, insurance, competition law, real estate and construction, corporate matters, sanctions, technology, and professional and management liability. We deliver market-leading efficiency, leveraging deep local knowledge of Cyprus’s legal framework and a proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with international litigation teams across jurisdictions.

We act for a broad spectrum of clients, particularly in the corporate and financial sectors. Our clients include multinational financial institutions and international organisations.
