This marks Cognita’s first collaboration in the country, adding to its network of more than 100 schools worldwide.

Cognita’s acquisition of Doukas School will enable Greek educators to join a global community of over 21,000 colleagues, offering opportunities to exchange insights and enhance professional development. Cognita’s programmes, including continuing education and training initiatives in partnership with IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society, will now be available to Doukas School staff.

The Harris Kyriakides team led by Michael Kyriakides and Jomana Nayed supported Cognita in navigating the cross-border elements of the transaction, providing strategic legal advice, conducted due diligence, and facilitated the negotiation and completion of the deal in alignment with local and international standards.
